Oerlikon HRSflow broadens product portfolio with advanced control units and valve gate end rings

At Fakuma, Oerlikon HRSflow will introduce new innovations, including the Valve Gate External End Ring for the Tp and Vp nozzle series and the End Ring Through the Cavity for the Tp nozzle series. These advancements are designed for processing engineering polymers like PA6/PA66, PBT, POM, PPA, and PPS, used in technical components such as gears and structural parts for automotive, electronics, domestic appliances, and other industries. Key benefits include increased wear resistance and reduced material degradation, thanks to an optimized process window within material guidelines, which enhances flexibility.
At the booth, the latest generation T-Flow HRS and V-Flow HRS control units will be showcased. T-Flow HRS provides precise thermal control for hot runner temperatures in injection molding, while V-Flow HRS excels in sequential multi-zone control for valve gate nozzles, both featuring a user-friendly interface.
The Xd nozzle series will also be on display, known for its compact stack mold in thin-wall packaging. It now includes a central solution for buckets and pails with handles, featuring an actuator between the manifold and nozzle for precise alignment, improving injection accuracy, and enabling a more compact design and stack height, ideal for space-constrained environments. Additional applications of the MULTIflow HRS multi-cavity line, designed for low shot weight parts, will be highlighted, with a particular focus on solutions developed for 100% PET thin-wall packaging.
A live demo will feature the production of a Blood Conical Filter using Jestar medical's demo mold and a BOY 35E injection molding machine, utilizing Oerlikon HRSflow MVP technology for synchronized valve actuation and precise drop spacing. At the HAITIAN booth, the ZE full electric injection molding machine will produce a 1.2-gram cable holder using a 16-drop open gate hot runner system, optimized for processing PA66+30% GF, ensuring accurate part filling and process repeatability.
